A few days later, I found a piece written by Sarah Thornton entitled Top 10 reasons not to report on the art market, which you want to read. Again a few days later, the art world experienced the wrath of Dave Hickey: “Art editors and critics - people like me - have become a courtier class. All we do is wander around the palace and advise very rich people. It’s not worth my time.”
