Here’s a funny little rant about the British version of Apple’s smug ads, you know the ones with the PC and the MAC guy: “when you see the ads, you think, ‘PCs are a bit rubbish yet ultimately lovable, whereas Macs are just smug, preening tossers.’ In other words, it is a devastatingly accurate campaign.” (full text)

I personally think it’s an immense waste of time to argue about what computer is better and why; the only bit of information I am going to contribute to this is that large bits of the weblog were written on a PC laptop that - despite my best efforts and considerable expertise (I once managed to crash the computer center of the Max Planck Society in Munich) and much to my surprise - refused to crash or “freeze” a single time. Damn it, I might have to “upgrade” to Microsoft’s “Vista” crap to get the real PC feel back!

PS: Oh, and please don’t email to enlighten me about why PCs or MACs are better, I really don’t care.
